Hi Garry,
 
Well mate where do we start !!! After having a serious spinal injury with my neck which required spinal surgery and a replacement disc and titanium plates I decided to come and see yourself to improve my core strength.
 
This decision was made in consultation with my neuron surgeon as a last ditch effort to improve nerve damage down my left hand side as I did not wish to take pills to kill pain.
 
What you did and taught me was priceless !!  You tailored a program to examine my fitness levels and worked out what was best for me rather than say there's the gym get stuck in !!!  It's all about the core ! its all about the core rings true in my head and your fitness schedules for me have ensured that Iam continuing on the improve. As of November 2009 I was lucky enough to win our golf clubs B grade Championship as a result of what you showed me and drove home .. going back 18 months I would have said you are a lunatic if somebody  said you would win your clubs golf champs.   So again a big thankyou mate !!!
 
You and the rest of your clients made me feel part of the gym as I was not a boxer or regular gym goer. If you have any prospective clients that are not sure if your training services can make a difference in there lives than I am more than happy for you to either give them a copy of this letter or get them to ring me.

When I began boxing I was an eighteen year old skinny kid with little strength or fitness, little confidence, and little knowledge of what I wanted out of life, other then to be a lawyer, and a boxer. Training with Garry began a path to become a champion person. Not only have I learnt to gauge a fighter strengths and weaknesses how to gauge my own, how to use my jab and footwork to accentuate my speed and power.
 
I have more importantly learnt that with discipline and planning with consistent hard work nothing is impossible. To put it simple as I can if Blue Cattle Dog Boxing was a university, then with boxing and self defence. Garry would be a professor  with his unique ability to handle people. I am certain Garry would be a Dean.
 
Garry is a educated, articulate, caring person, with the unique ability to be able to communicate with all people in a clear and concise manner, no matter their goals, ability or background. Constantly, I have found myself implementing the lessons Garry has taught me in training, into studies and even today, I am well aware that without them, my law degree may have remained an unachievable goal. From the very first training  session, Garry has  drummed into me the important of working towards the big picture and the importance of conquering fear. He has taught me how to grow as a person .

Garry has given me the ability to handle myself with confidence and assurance in my ability no matter the situation. Whether sitting on a dark train station at night or going to the cinema with some one I love, I am always confident with the notion that no matter what happens, Garry has given me the tools and the will to handle whatever arises.

Today I am in a  fourth year law student, working as a accountant for a multi million dollar international company to pay my way through university. I have plans to continue my studies and complete honours after my degree, and with the lessons Garry has taught me I am confident that I am  working constantly to make these goals a reality.

When I first started boxing with Garry  Wasson I weighted 105 kg and barely knew how to throw a punch. With the help of Garry Wasson and some hard work of my own, I now weigh 85 kg. I lost 20 kg, and about to enter the boxing ring for my first amateur boxing fight. Garry has not only taught me valuable lessons in the ring, he has taught me valuable lessons outside the ring that I will keep with me for a lifetime.

I thought I'd be self conscious about training with a personal trainer but I have found  Garry Wasson to be not only beneficial to my weight loss & fitness,  I have found the experience very comfortable & I'm fitter & healthier than I have been in years.

When I first met Garry Wasson my fitness was nowhere near where I needed it to be for a very important upcoming fitness test. I was unmotivated, exhausted and felt like my training kept hitting a wall. In such a short period of time Garry Wasson completely transformed my attitude and training regime.
 
By the time my test day came around, my fitness was better than I ever expected, I was confident, and consequently, I blitzed my fitness test. I can honestly say I could never have done it without Garry's expertise, support and inspiration.

I started training within the group class at the Blue Cattle Dog Boxing Gym. I weighed in at 117kg and stood 184cm tall. According to a standard BMI chart I was classed as obese. Two and a half years later I currently weigh 93kg and am registering as an amateur boxer to fight in the heavy weight class.
 
My 24kg weight loss was solely because of Garry Wasson's training. Garry helped with my training outside of the gym showing me different techniques and exercises I could use at home. Gary also guided me with my diet, hydration, fat percentage and strategies to achieve my goal weight. 
 
I feel that my success was not necessarily the hard work, but more the consistency that helped me loose the weight.
 
Training with Gary to become a boxer has given me extra confidence. This has help with my career, and allowed me to perform better at my job. I am more confident with public speaking, a task I thought I could never do!

I have been training hard for over a year and i have gone from 95kg to 81kg, but for 6 months i was frustrated at not being able to lose anymore weight no matter how many more hours i put into the gym every week. I work very long hours and trying to find extra time to exercise was becoming more difficult. I was already going to the gym 6-7 times a week and had two weekly personal training sessions at the gym.

Then I met Garry Wasson who has helped educate me about the value of proper nutrition and developed a training program that was a lot more efficient and beneficial for my busy schedule. After 6 weeks on the program i have now dropped the extra weight and i have moved from being Obese into a healthy range. What Garry has done for me in 6 weeks is more than what 2 other personal trainers could not achieve in 6 months.    Before i started training with Garry  Wasson i was overweight, unfit and believing i could handle myself on a street level due to my previous martial arts background. Now that i have trained under Garrys  ever watchful eye for only six months i have changed not only physically but also mentally. i have achieved a level of fitness and confidence i never thought possible in just six months. My fitness and stamina have increased dramatically, this i known for many reasons one that stands out is i just completed the entry fitness test to get into the ARMY to become a infantry man.
 the drill instructor that assessed us said " i was at the fitness level of  the cadets who had just completed basic training at Kapooka" In all the years of various martial arts training i had done nothing had comes even close to the physical & mental  preparation i was given by Garry . Garry knowns how to train people from all levels of fitness. when i first started i was unfit & overweight but every week i was set new & realistic goals & always achieved them.
 
i can say with great confidence that if i had never started training with Garry there was no way  i would have passed my fitness assessment. .
Training with Garry has  changed my life forever, i have no Doubt about that, Garry Wasson  has helped me achieve one of my lifes goals in only six months. Now i am in the army now i wont be able to train with Garry  but any opportunity i have i will not hesitate to book in a training session with him. 
So i would like to thank Garry Wasson for helping me change my life &  also helping me achieve some of my life goals
 
 So if anyone who has dreams or goals about changing their life physically & mentally i would strongly reccommend you get off your butt and  call Garry Wasson.
